An Important Update from Pony Up Farm

After 20 wonderful years of rescuing horses, Pony Up Farm is beginning the process of closing. Our animals have a thoughtful placement plan, and our commitment to their care remains our highest priority. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Our Mission

What we do

We rescue horses, pigs, chickens and other animals in need due to neglect, abuse, starvation or abandonment. We seek to turn their lives around with rehabilitation, proper nutrition, veterinary care, and training.

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation can be a long road. Due to all of the by-products of a horses difficult past, we often have little idea of the degree of the problems we’re facing until the horse has arrived at our barn and is assessed by our vet. Then comes the real work: proper nourishment, grooming, medical care, training and, more often than not, trust-building.

Our goal is to bring out the best in the horse, and to find him/her the perfect forever home.

Beyond rescue

We believe that it is not enough to simply rescue. In order to ensure a horses safety in the future, we seek to give them the training they need to find excellent homes for the rest of their lives and reduce the odds that they will ever wind up in jeopardy again.
