Chica has been ADOPTED!

What is Chica’s history?

Chica came to Pony Up in Spring of 2018 with her buddy Joey. She was malnourished and underweight. She and Joey were surrendered to the rescue by their owner who could no longer care for them. After a few months in the care of Pony Up, Chica has gained weight and is very healthy once again. She showed some classic mare sass and spirit so we had her sent to training with Evan Bonner at the end of May 2018. She will be there a bit longer, but she is progressing nicely, has no health concerns, and will be a great horse for someone.

Who would be good for Chica?

Chica is spirited and green broke, so she will need an experienced person with a firm, but gentle hand. No beginners. She has no soundness issues. Continued training will be necessary.

What about Chica?

Chica is estimated at 14H and 7 years old. She is a bit spirited and will require a seasoned rider and continued training. We believe she is a Pinto and Arab cross. She is very pretty with her one blue eye. She was closely bonded with Joey and would likely do very well with a companion horse.
