We know that your time is valuable, and we deeply appreciate any that you’re willing to offer help us help horses in need.

Volunteers at Pony Up Rescue help out with various tasks on a daily basis, such as cleaning stalls, feeding, grooming, and spending time with our animals. They may also work on occasional projects like repairing stalls and paddocks, keeping pathways tidy and helping in the summer garden.  Our residents  are not available for riding, but there are plenty of other ways to help and connect with them.

It's important to know that volunteering tasks on our farm can be quite repetitive, physically demanding and messy.  Also, rain or shine, heat or cold, the animals rely on us for care.   Our work each day, no matter how mundane the task or miserable the weather, are essential for the animals' well-being.  If you are up for all of this, we are sure you'll find that hard work in volunteering is not only rewarding but also a great way to meet caring people.

All are welcome to volunteer, whether you're new to horses and farm animals or have specific skills to offer related to farming, animal care or farm facilities upkeep. Please note that minors under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
